|Compensation and Benefits||
|401 (k) Savings Plan
Participation begins on the first day of employment. You can make contributions of up to 10% of eligible compensation. VIS-A makes a matching contribution to your savings equal to 50% of the first 10% of compensation. Your maximum match from VIS-A equals 5% of your wages. VIS-A's matching contribution vest 20% each year until 100% vested after 5 years of service.
To provide our employees with vacation, sick and personal time, we have a Flexible Time Off program. Under the FTO program, our full time employees accrue FTO base on the years of service starting with 20 days during the first year of employment. One day will be added for each following year up to a maximum of 35 days per year. The FTO program can be used with any combination of vacation, sick, or personal days.

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential counseling and referral service designed to help you and your family experiencing personal problems or crisis. There is no charge for this service. Through EAP, trained professionals will provide confidential assistance in the matters of job and family related stress, mental health, chemical dependence, and general living problems.
To encourage employees to continue their education, VIS-A has established an Education Assistance Program. The program applies to full time employees with management's approval for work related courses at an accredited institution. Education assistance covers 100% of eligible costs, including tuition and mandatory fees, up to a maximum of $5,000 per calendar year. In addition, the company will reimburse the employee the cost of necessary textbooks up to $100.00 per course. The employee must provide evidence of a "B" grade or better.

The flexible spending account provides tax and income advantages for certain types of health and dependent care expenses. With the Flexible Spending Account you can make pre-tax contribution that you have specify to your FSA account. You pay out of pocket expenses and submit a claim for that amount. You will receive a check reimbursing you for the expenses up to your specified annual contribution.
VIS-A is always looking for high caliber applicants and encourages employees to refer qualified candidates to the company. A referral bonus of $2,000 will be paid to you if your referral is employed by VIS-A and meets the terms and conditions of the recruitment referral plan.
